I have just arranged another summers work with the Uist Outdoor Centre and thought that their plans for kayaking trips to St Kilda might be of interest to other members. See the website below and watch the video. Hope you are inspired!
The plan is to offer trips to St Kilda with Kayaks so that you can paddle round the islands without the 40 mile open crossing. You can also travel without kayaks and explore the island on foot.

The centre is also an independant hostel, right on the shore of Lochmaddy, with boat launching about ten yards from the front door.
